Thumbprint Cookies
Delicious buttery soft thumbprint cookies that can be filled with whatever filling you want
- 116 grams butter, softened
- 68 grams sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 146 grams flour
- Filling of your choice
Cream together the butter and sugar
Add in egg yolk, vanilla, and salt. Mix until combined
Add in flour and mix until a dough forms
Take about 1 tbsp of cookie dough and roll it up into balls
Flatten each ball and press an indent into each one
Fill with your filling of choice
Bake 12-14 minutes at 177C/350F
