Round Butter Cookies
Butter cookie recipe that can be used to make round character cookies.
- 70 grams unsalted butter, softened
- 30 grams icing sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 grams cake flour
- 25 grams almond flour
- 10 grams milk powder
Cream together the butter and sugar
Mix in the egg yolk and vanilla extract
Add in dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms
Divide the dough and dye into desired colors
Shape the cookies. (Keep unused dough covered to prevent it from drying out)
Chill the cookies for 25 minutes in the refrigerator
Bake at 320F/160C for 25 minutes
Optional: Decorate with royal icing/melted chocolate
