  • Food scale: for measuring out ingredients.
  • Measuring spoons

  • Baking powder
  • Cinnamon

  • Salt
  • Egg
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Vanilla extract

How to make these donuts

One of the best things about this donut recipe is how simple it is to make. You simply mix together your dry ingredients then add in the wet and you’re done! You can be eating donuts in just 30 minutes!

  1. In a large bowl, add in the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt) and mix together with a whisk until it’s combined.
  2. Add in the wet ingredients (egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract). Whisk together until it’s combined.
  3. Transfer the batter into a piping bag and then pipe the batter into a greased donut pan. Fill each cavity about 80% full. Alternatively, if you don’t have piping bags, you can use a spoon and spoon the batter into each cavity.
  4. Bake the donuts at 350C/177F for 12 minutes.
  5. Coat the donuts in cinnamon sugar while the donuts are still warm. Warm donuts stick to the cinnamon sugar better. If the cinnamon sugar isn’t sticking, dip the donuts into some butter then toss it in cinnamon sugar. (or you can just dip it in butter in the first place because butter is delicious and it makes for tastier donuts)
  6. Eat up!
