A Collection of Jellycat Foods

Sad to say but I think I am officially over my Jellycat food making phase. To mark the end of this phase, please enjoy this compilation post of all the Jellycat inspired foods I’ve made.

1. Jellycat Mochi

These were the first Jellycat inspired foods I made. There are no real Jellycat mochi plushes but if there were then I’m sure they would look just like these mochi I made.

These Jellycat mochi consists of a chewy glutinous rice exterior and  a delicious whipped cream and Oreo filled center.

Not only are they cute but they are an easy no bake dessert to make!

2. Jellycat Bao

This looks like a bao but it is actually made of mochi. It’s actually the same mochi as above but I pinched up the top to make it look like a bao. Ain’t it adorable?

3. Jellycat Avocado Cookies

These Jellycat avocado cookies are thumbprint cookies with a chocolate Lindor ball center.

4. Jellycat Icebox Cookies

These Jellycat cookies are made from an icebox cookie recipe. One great thing about icebox cookies is that they require no cookie cutters and the designs options are unlimited. It’s possible to make every single Jellycat out there out of icebox cookie dough.

I chose to make the Jellycat egg and watermelon as those are very basic and simple designs for a beginner icebox cookie maker like myself. The faces and other features are drawn on after baking with royal icing.

If you want another cookie recipe that doesn’t require cookie cutters and allows for unlimited design options,  please check out my sugar cookie recipe! The sugar cookie recipe is a great option for making Jellycat cookies. (I also personally prefer making and eating sugar cookies over icebox cookies).

5. Watermelon Jellycat Cake

This watermelon Jellycat cake is one of my favourite Jellycat bakes!

6. Jellycat Mushroom Milk Pudding

This Jellycat mushroom is made out of a simple 4-ingredient milk pudding recipe. It is super easy to make.

7. Jellycat Birthday Cake

Lastly here are the Jellycat birthday cakes I made.

The one on the left was my most recent one. Don’t let looks deceive you. It may look like a strawberry cake but it is actually a mango cake. The cake is made out of two layers of deliciously soft chiffon cake and filled with fresh mango and whipped cream.

The two Jellycat cakes on the right are mini cakes. They’re probably just about 2.5 inches wide in diameter. They are also made out of chiffon and filled with whipped cream.
